Some of the users who have purchased subscriptions within my application say that they have received cancellation mails from Google Play even though they have not cancelled their subscription. Mail content is something like this; Your YYY subscription from XXX on Google Play has been cancelled.
I know that in-app subscription cancellation is done only through Google Play / Account / Subscriptions channel. As far as I know, we are unable to provide direct subscription cancellation within the applications we publish. Did I say that right?
Why might users be receiving these emails? Could they be unsubscribing themselves and ask for a refund
How can I understand this clearly, please help me, buddy.
